Sunday Morning Treats
We've changed the way members help with Sunday treats.  Our goal each week is 16 dozen cookes or bars, yet that amount is too much for many bakers.  Now the goal is to get multiple bakers to donate smaller amounts yet still get our 200 treats.
Can you provide, say, 4 dozen cookies?  Sign up on the clip board on the treat table in the narthex.  When four bakers sign up, each has less work, yet we'll have plenty of treats.
For the non-bakers, you can provide all the treats with a donation of $25 to the church.  There's also a canister for donations on the table.

Mother's Day
May 8th, 2022 - 8am & 10:15am Services

Praise be to God, it is going to be an awesome
Mother's Day at Monroe UMC!

We are literally going to roll out the red carpet at
both services so that all Mom's can have their
picture taken professionally with all their children or grandchildren that attend worship with them
on Mother's Day.

Jessie Bennet of Dutch Hollow Photography will be
on-site in the Narthex beginning at 7:30 am to take pictures
in front of a professional backdrop (pictured above)
of Moms and their families.  She will be taking pictures before and after both the 8 am and 10:15 am
Worship Service on Sunday, May 8th. You will then
be given information on how to purchase prints of that
picture if you want them later on.

So, Moms, be sure to tell everyone to dress and be
ready for a picture and be sure to come to Worship on Mother's Day, May 8th, at either the 8 am or 10:15 am Worship Services at Monroe United Methodist Church!

for the class, however, if you would like to make a
donation to the church, any money donated will be used for instrument maintenance and supplies.

Please feel free to bring your own acoustic or
electric guitar to class, along with an amp if needed.
If you do not own a guitar or have one to borrow,
the church does have a few different options that can be checked out.  If you need to borrow a guitar from
the church, they will be available at the first class and a separate form will need to be filled out.  All students under
the age of 18 will need a parent's signature before they can borrow a guitar.
