Sunday Morning Treats
We've changed the way members help with Sunday treats.  Our goal each week is 16 dozen cookes or bars, yet that amount is too much for many bakers.  Now the goal is to get multiple bakers to donate smaller amounts yet still get our 200 treats.
Can you provide, say, 4 dozen cookies?  Sign up on the clip board on the treat table in the narthex.  When four bakers sign up, each has less work, yet we'll have plenty of treats.
For the non-bakers, you can provide all the treats with a donation of $25 to the church.  There's also a canister for donations on the table.

Loaves and Fishes Update
Loaves and Fishes community meals continues to be on hold.  In March, the board made the hard decision to stop holding meals in an effort to love our neighbors and protect each other.  This was a hard decision to make knowing that many people depend not only on the food, but on the open fellowship given out each month.

In the months since they stopped serving meals, the board has met many times through Zoom and has joined #MaskUpGreenCounty, and the board has committed to wearing masks when out in public.

MUMC committed to host and serve the August meal, but with the ongoing COVID concerns, the meal will not be served.  Please keep the mission, the board, the people they served each month, and the volunteers that helped to make it a success in your prayers.
