Sunday Morning Treats
We've changed the way members help with Sunday treats.  Our goal each week is 16 dozen cookes or bars, yet that amount is too much for many bakers.  Now the goal is to get multiple bakers to donate smaller amounts yet still get our 200 treats.
Can you provide, say, 4 dozen cookies?  Sign up on the clip board on the treat table in the narthex.  When four bakers sign up, each has less work, yet we'll have plenty of treats.
For the non-bakers, you can provide all the treats with a donation of $25 to the church.  There's also a canister for donations on the table.

SurveyResults

Church Survey Results

A big Thank You to everyone who took the time to fill out the church survey. The amount of returned surveys exceeded our expectations. The Survey Committee has met to calculate the results. We had a clear top three items that the majority of people felt were very important.
  1. Church Computer System - our current computer, internet, and safety systems are not adequate to fufill the needs of our church staff. Several committees, including the Trustees, the staff, and a separate technology group, have already been discussing this issue to try and assess what the current and future needs of the church are.
  2. Changing from three worship services to two - the majority of people felt it was time to make the switch to two services. It was also clear that the majority of people preferred 8:30am and 10:00am times. This change has been discussed and assessed at staff meetings and several committees. The Ad Council voted at the last meeting to support this. It is the hope that two services - one continuing to be more traditional (8:30am) and one being more of a blended praise and worship service (10:00am) will give everyone a time to see one another in between services and grow our fellowship and connections together.
  3. Repaving the parking lot, but with a new layout for improved traffic flow and safety - our parking lot is in need of repaving. Some sections that would not be affected by any changes have already been paved, the section by the choir room door. The Trustees have been in contact with Bartelt Paving to begin coming up with ideas for our parking lot that would create a better traffic flow, but more importantly, address the safety of our lot including crossing the lot into the building.
